This series is really getting good. I didn’t fall in love with the first book and even thought about not continuing the series. I’m sooo glad I did. We finally get to see a gentler side of Jeremy in this book. Of course, it is short-lived. It also becomes apparent that this abduction has been planned for a very long time. I’m dying to find out what the past connection is between the two of them. The storyline feels reminiscent of ‘Consequences’, by Aleatha Romig, which is a favorite of mine. I can’t wait to see how it all plays out. I’m dying for the next installation. Usually I wait until a series is complete before starting so I don’t torture myself this way!
